About project
The project of leaflets, stickers, and informational plaques was created during the first year of my master’s studies at the Department of Visual Communication A, under the guidance of Dr. Barbara Widłak and Ms. Agnieszka Juchy-Kasperczyk. The year 2023 was dedicated to Copernicus. Representations on the labels feature selected heraldic animals. One of the design objectives was to create illustrations in the style of animal depictions on coats of arms. Each animal is accompanied by a constellation corresponding to that particular creature.
Concept – sketches
For the project, I decided to utilize constellations of animals commonly used in heraldry. I chose three animals: a lion, a Capricorn, and a ram. I juxtaposed the developed heraldic images of these animals with illustrations representing their constellations. The color scheme is kept in warm tones, including light cream and dark brown.
Labels set
The project consists of three labels and a counter-label. The labels feature illustrations of heraldic animals alongside representations of their constellations, as well as information about the volume, alcohol percentage, brewery name, and constellation name
