About project

Labels Project for the Conceptual Copernicus Winery was made during my master’s studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, at the Department of Visual Communication A, under the guidance of Dr. Barbara Widłak and Ms. Agnieszka Juchy-Kasperczyk. The year 2023 was dedicated to Copernicus. The design concept aimed to create wine labels inspired by the works of Nicolaus Copernicus. For this project, I decided to incorporate astral motifs, intending to reference Copernicus’s astronomical pursuits.
I prepared a set of illustrations featuring planets, stars, and other celestial bodies. The project consists of three labels with different illustrations and back labels. The labels include information about bottle capacity, alcohol percentage, and the wine’s production year. The back label provides details about the winery, production number, barcode, and repeated information regarding capacity and alcohol percentage.

The project consists of three labels with different illustrations and a counter-label. On the label, information about the bottle capacity, alcohol percentage, and the year of wine production is provided. The counter-label contains information about the winery, production number, barcode, and repeated details regarding the capacity and percentage.
