About project
The posters were created as part of a university competition project. The project was developed in the Visual Communication B studio under the supervision of Dr. Ewa Pawluczuk and Dr. Aleksandra Zajdel-Cyrulik. The first poster was inspired by the art of Ukrainian artist Maria Prymachenko, particularly her flower paintings. In this project, I decided to incorporate elements of weaponry into a floral bouquet, creating a composition that reveals its nature only upon closer inspection. The black and white design draws inspiration from Escher’s art. The second poster features a cyclist with weapons and their elements, which, from a distance, appears to be a bouquet of flowers. In both posters, I included a footer with the date of the outbreak of war and a second one containing only two digits, suggesting an unknown and possibly very long war.
